1. Parties and acceptance
These terms govern access to synap-nodehub.digital, related landing pages, and any authenticated areas we provide. By browsing or submitting forms, you agree to these terms and the linked Privacy memorandum and Cookie sheet.
2. Data controller and contact
The data controller for personal data collected through this site is Synap Nodehub, reachable at programs@synap-nodehub.digital and by post at 116-1083, Higashishimbashi Dentsuhonshabiru (46-kai), Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan.
3. Categories of data processed
We process identifiers (name, email, company), communication content, technical logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps), and cookie identifiers when you opt in to non-essential cookies.
4. Purposes and legal bases
Contract preparation for prospective participants (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR analog where applicable), legitimate interest in securing our infrastructure (Art. 6(1)(f)), and consent for optional analytics when you explicitly accept.
5. Retention
Inquiry records are retained twenty-four months unless a longer period is required for active negotiations. Telemetry logs rotate after ninety days. Legal holds may extend retention where mandated.
6. Recipients and subprocessors
Hosting, email delivery, and analytics vendors may process data under written agreements requiring confidentiality and appropriate safeguards.
7. International transfers
Where data leaves Japan or the EEA, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms and document transfer impact assessments when required.
8. Security measures
We apply TLS in transit, role-based access for staff, and least-privilege credentials for infrastructure. No security practice is absolute; we investigate credible reports sent to security@synap-nodehub.digital.
9. Children’s privacy
Programs target working professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children under sixteen without parental authorization and will delete such data if identified.
10. Changes and notices
We may revise these terms to reflect regulatory shifts or product changes. Material updates will be posted with a new effective date; continued use after fourteen days constitutes acceptance unless mandatory law requires explicit consent.
11. Participant conduct
Cohort participants must not harass staff or peers, must respect confidentiality of shared materials, and may not attempt to bypass safety exercises by introducing disallowed personal data into shared sandboxes.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Synap Nodehub is not liable for indirect losses arising from site unavailability or from third-party model behavior. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.
