Designing audio review queues that protect voice actors

Waveform-first layouts, consent tags, and when to refuse a synthetic line outright.

Synthetic voice projects inherit film-dubbing ethics. Our queues show waveform first, transcript second, so reviewers listen before anchoring on text that might be wrong or misleading.

Consent tags travel with every clip: original speaker, synthetic blend ratio, and whether the line can leave a private staging bucket. Operations coordinators audit tag completeness nightly.

We train participants to refuse tasks: if a line impersonates a living public figure without clearance, the queue documents the refusal reason for legal review.

The studio shares anonymized aggregate stats—median review time, refusal counts—so product teams understand the human load behind glossy demos.
